Formerly known as Mason Co-op, the Family Christian Homeschool Co-op meets on Friday mornings at North Fairfield Baptist Church, located near the Bridgewater Falls shopping area near Hwy 129.
We are primarily an enrichment co-op, and rely on our members to share their gifts, teaching subjects they are interested in and have a passion for. Class offerings will supplement what the student is learning at home, either as a new "elective" or to support "core" subjects, with a once-a-week opportunity to gain a fresh perspective from the teacher and from positive interaction with fellow Christian homeschoolers.
Members must agree with our Statement of Faith and agree to follow the Policies established by the Board. Please click here to email the Director if you are interested in joining our co-op. We are currently accepting names for a waiting list for 2014-2015.
Statement of Faith
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension and His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person proceeding from the Father and the Son and is therefore eternal, and of the same essence, majesty, and glory with the Father and the Son. We believe therefore that the Holy Spirit is truly God.
We believe salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins.
We believe the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired, and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction; that it has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error for its matter; that it reveals the principles by which God will judge us; and therefore is, and shall remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions should be tried. We believe God in His Word has given parents the responsibility to educate their children in a Godly manner.
We believe it is our obligation as believers to witness by life and word to the truth of the Gospel and proclaim these to all mankind.
We believe that a visible church of Christ is a congregation of believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the Gospel; observing the ordinances of Christ; governed by His laws; and exercising the gifts, rights and privileges invested in them by His Word.
We believe in that "Blessed Hope," the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His redeemed ones; and in His return to the earth, with His saints to establish His Kingdom.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment.
